Creative Development for Early childhood Teachers-OutlineIntroduction
· Introduce myself

Group Brainstorming
· Provide a definition of Art.
· What is Art to you?
· What can it teach children?

Creative Thinking
· What does it mean to be creative.
· How do you develop creative thinking for yourself and children.

Exposure-Experiment-Experience

· Exposure-Variety of exposure including-displays, music, examples, inspiration, historical and contemporary.
· Demonstration and then, brainstorming & hands on activity.
· Experiment-Variety of materials, different combinations, variety of purposes, problem solving activities, a chance to try old and new ways of using media and materials.
· 2 or 3 hands on activities to experiment with different media- (possibly pudding paint, melting colour experiments, and a drawing experimental Grid)
· Experience- Hands on activity-drawing experimental Grid, using a wide range of drawing materials.
